WeRise Africa is a not for profit and a non-political organization headquartered in Nyali, Mombasa County. The organization was founded in 2020 and officially registered in 2021 under the laws of Kenya. The organization is youth led and prides itself in a group of 8 highly trained staff with a cumulative experience of more than 10 years in addressing gender equality, governance programs and peace building. Our vision is an equitable society where men and women enjoy their rights while our mission is to inspire communities to harness their power to achieve sustainable development. WeRise Africa operates under four thematic areas that include: championing for peace and cohesion, ending forms of gender violence, youth & leadership and education.
