SLUM AND RURAL HEALTH INITIATIVE NETWORK. We are a non-profit organization that is focused on delivering quality healthcare information and services to people in rural areas, urban slums and other under-served areas through community outreaches, media advocacy, information technology, research advocacy and other innovative approaches to connect healthcare professionals to the populace and policymakers to ensure that quality healthcare is available to everyone, everywhere.
Summary of relevant work
We are a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, social scientists information technology experts, researchers, graphic designers and social entrepreneurs who are passionate about changing the sad narrative of healthcare information and service delivery We envision an Africa where healthcare information and services is easily available to everyone, everywhere. To improve access to health information and services by connecting health professionals to the populace through advocacy, technology and research so that they can make the right health decisions.
